1. Reprimand 2. Effective May 23,2009 The respondent and the Griev~nce Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that he failed to communicate with his client regarding the basis or rate of his fee; and knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5(b) and 8.1 (a)(2).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,021.01.
