NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case No. 09-9-GA Notice Issued: July 14, 2009 Teresa B. Stepien, P 53893, Warren, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #105.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 11, 2009 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that she negligently disobeyed an order of the court, as well as engaged in other conduct contrary to the Rules of Professional Conduct, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and that she be subject to conditions relevant to the alleged misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,031.44.
