NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case No. 08-175-GA Notice Issued: August 4,2009 Russell L. Green, P 53820, Lansing, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #2.

1. Revocation 2. Effective August 1, 2009 1 The respondent did not appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the panel found that respondent abandoned eight client matters; failed to refund an unearned fee in four of those eight matters; failed to act with reasonable diligence on behalf of a client; failed to respond to reasonable requests for communication; failed to adequately commun,icate with a client and reasonably explain a matter to the extent necessary for the client to make informed decisions concerning the representation; and failed to answer eight requests for investigation.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (7); MeR 9.113(A) and (8)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 1.16(d); 8.4(a) and (c).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and that he pay restitution in the aggregate amount of $9,210.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,118.00.
