1. Reprimand 2. Effective April 16, 2009 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him; failed to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter; and failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding his representation, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); and 1.4(a) and (b).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $762.82.
