NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Darren M. Malek, P 57443, Kalamazoo, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Kalamazoo County Hearing Panel #19.

1. Reprimand 2. Effective March 27, 2009 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations tha~ he engaged in personal conduct while operating a motor vehicle which exposed the legal profession or the courts to obloquy, contempt, censure, or reproach; engaged in conduct that is contrary to justice, ethics, or good morals; and violated the Rules of Professional Conduct, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct8.4(a).

Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and be subject to conditions relevant to the alleged misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $767.48.
