NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (Pending Appeal)

Case No. 09-26-JC Notice Issued: October 6, 2009

Kevin M. Schneider, P 54175, Clinton Township, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #101.

1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective February 5, 2009 Respondent filed an answer to the formal complaint and appeared at the hearing. The panel found that respondent, based on his convictions for negligent homicide and OUIL/per se, both misdemeanors, committed professional misconduct in violation of MeR 9.120(8)(2) and 9.1 04(A)(5)

The panel ordered the respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 179 days, retroactive to February 5, 2009. Additionally, the panel imposed conditions relevant to the established misconduct.

On September 18, 2009, the Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review which will be scheduled for hearing before the Attorney Discipline Board.
