NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 06-63-GA Notice Issued: November 3, 2008 Larry J. Fox, P 39285, Walled Lake, Michigan, by the,Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #77.

1. Suspension - 150 Days 2. Effective October 29, 2008 Respondent filed an answer to the formal complaint and appeared at the public hearing. The hearing panel found that respondent knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a tribunal; offered evidence which he knew to be false; failed to inform the tribunal of all facts known that would enable the tribunal to make an informed; communicated, ex parte, with two judges in a pending matter before the court; engaged in undignifie.d conduct toward the tribunal; made false statements to a judge and to a police department; maintained his false statements over a period of time, which resulted in the arrest of an indivi'dual who had not committed the act that respondent alleged against her; and filed a false police report.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(5); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct MRPC 3.3(a)(1) and (4); 3.3(d); 3.5(b); 3.5(c); 8.4(a)-(c). The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 150 days.

Respondent filed a petition for review with a request for stay, both of which were granted by the Attorney Discipline Board. The Grievance Administrator also filed a petition for review but, before a review hearing was held, the parties filed a stipulation to dissolve the stay of discipline and withdraw their petitions for review. The Attorney Discipline Board granted the stipulation and, on October 7,2008, ordered that the petitions for review be dismissed and that the stay of discipline be dissolved.. The Board further ordered that respondent's 150 day suspension would commence October 29, 2008, and that respondent shall pay costs in the amount of $3,172.02.
