1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective September 5,2008 Respondent was convicted in the state of Arizona of the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated, in violation of A.R.S. Sec. 28-13882A. Respondent failed to file a written response or appear at the hearing.
The hearing panel, based on respondent's conviction, found that respondent committed professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5). Citing respondent's failure to answer or appear, the panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 180 days, with a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the
amount of $1,651.12.
