1. Reprimand 2. Effective September 26, 2008 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MeR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that he engaged in conduct that exposed the legal profession and the courts to obloquy, contempt, censure or reproach; engaged in conduct that violates the standards or rules of professional responsibility adopted by the Supreme Court; failed to send all of his active clients a notice of his suspension from the practice of law, by the State Bar of Michigan, for his failure to pay bar dues; and failed to file with opposing counsel notice of his suspension from the practice of law, in violation
of MCR 9.1 04(A)(2) and (4); MCR 9.119(A) and (B); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a).
Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $782.48.
