NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITION Case Nos. 08-86-JC; 08-87-GA Notice Issued: November 13, 2008

Johnie P. Brock, P 59005, Pinckney, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board livingston County Hearing Panel #1.

1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective September 4, 2008 Respondent appeared at the hearing but was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on the evidence presented, the hearing panel'found that respondent was convicted of the offense of disorderly conduct-obscene conduct, a misdemeanor, in violation of MCl 750.1671 (F). Further, based on respondent's default, the panel found that respondent failed to answer a request for investigation.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (8)(2); MCR 9.120(A); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.4(c); 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(a) and (c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 180,days, effective September 4,2008. The panel also ordered that respondent be subject to a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of$1 ,819.28.
