1. Suspension - 1 Year 2. Effective September 4,2008 Based upon an order of suspension entered by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on February 22, 2007, the Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a heaOring panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MeR 9.104.
Respondent appeared at the show cause hearing and the panel, after determining that respondent had been afforded due process in the underlying proceeding, ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of one year. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,747.38.
