Case No. 08-02-GA Notice Issued: July 23,2008 James A. Tucker, P 21608, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #17.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 23,2008 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the charges of failing to act with diligence and promptness; and failure to return unearned fees, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 and 1.16(d).
Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and pay restitution in the amount of $2,316.88. Costs were assessed in the amount of $762.22.
