NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 07-166-GA Notice Issued: May 14,2008

Lesley F. Knapp, P 34696, Livonia, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #11.

1. 'Reprimand 2. Effective May 14, 2008 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent admitted that, in civil lawsuit, she neglected the matter; failed to act with reasonaqle diligence and promptness in her representation; failed to keep her client reasonably informed about the status of his case; and failed to make reasonable efforts to expedite litigation consistent with her client's interests.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.2; 8.4(c).

Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $767.43.
