NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 07-145-MZ Notice Issued: March 18,2008 Walter W. Halmagy, P 34662, Ann Arbor, Michigan by the Attorney Discipline Board Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #2.

1. Revocation 2. Effective March 15, 2008 1 The Grievance Administrator filed a petition on September 11, 2007 seeking entry of an order increasing discipline for respondent's failure to comply with the hearing panel's order of February 19, 2007.

The respondent did not file an answer nor did he appear at the show cause hearing held on January 30, 2008. Based upon the evidence submitted by the Grievance Administrator, the panel concluded that respondent had not complied with its previous order, specifically, that respondent knowingly and intentionally practiced law during a period when he knew he was precluded from doing so due to his suspension. Further, that he knowingly and intentionally failed to inform his client, the judge and other lawyers involved of his status as a suspended lawyer. Finally, the panel found that respondent did not file his affidavit of compliance as required by MCR 9.119(C).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be revoked. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,948.96.
