NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case No. 06-168-GA Notice Issued: March 11, 2008 Carolyn J. Jackson, P 53018, Pontiac, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #76.

1. Reprimand 2. Effective March 8, 2008 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MeR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that she failed to maintain reasonable communications with her client; neglected the civil action; and that she failed to move to withdraw from her client's representation or assist in executing a substitution of attorneys, in violation of Michigan Court Rules 2.117(C); 9.104(A)(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 3.2; and 8.4(a).

Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded, with conditions relevant to the alleged misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,032.83.
