NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 07-174-GA Notice Issued: February 28, 2008 Theodore T. Sandberg, P 53104, Ferndale, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #67.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective February 28, 2008 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) containing respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that, as assistant prosecuting attorney for the Wayne County Prosecutor's office, he failed to follow department guidelines for dismissing a felony firearm charge in one matter; and failed to follow his supervisor's preauthorizations for sentencing in two other matters.
Respondent's conduct was in violation of Michigan Court Rule 9.1 04(A)(1) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,270.97.
