NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITION Case No. 07-138-GA Notice Issued: February 29,2008

Suzanne Brummel, P 43949, Lincoln Park, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #14.

1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective March 20, 2008 1 The respondent failed to appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for her failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the panel found that respondent, after 'being convicted by a guilty plea for an ordinance violation, failed to appear for her review hearing resulting in a warrant being issued for her arrest. Additionally, respondent failed to file an answer to a request for investigation served upon her by the Grievance Administrator.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(5) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); -and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(a)-(c).

The pane,l ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended180 days, to run consecutive to the 180 day suspension ordered in Grievance Administrator v Suzanne Brummel, Case No. 07-54-JC. Respondent shall also be subject to a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,664.23.
