NOTICE OF REPRIMAND Case No. 06-157-GA Notice Issued: April 4, 2008 Michael E. Thomas, P 25798, Flint, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Genesee County Hearing Panel #2.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective April 2, 2008 The respondent appeared at the hearing and filed an answer to the formal complaint. The hearing panel found that respondent and his secretary "pre-witnessed"a trust agreement and that respondent "pre-notarized" that document. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1 )-(3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 4.1; 5.3(b); 5.3(c)(1); 5.3(c)(2); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and pay costs in the amount of $2,890.21.
