NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 07-100-GA Notice Issued: January 31, 2008 Remo Del Greco, P 27469, Grosse Pointe, Michigan by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #28.

1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective January 31, 2008 The respondent and Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that, in a medical malpractice matter, he failed to promptly render a full accounting of the retainer upon the client's request; and failed to refund the unearned portion of the advance fee. In both the medical malpractice matter and a divorce matter, respondent also pled no contest to the allegations that, while suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for failing to pay bar dues, he held himself out as an attorney during the period of suspension; practiced law in a jurisdiction where doing so violated the regulation of the legal profession in that jurisdiction; failed to provide written notice of his suspension to all clients within seven days of the effective date; failed to file a notice of disqualification with all tribunals in which he was representing clients; and failed to file an affidavit in compliance with the administrator and the board.

Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Court Rules 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(4); 9.119(A)-(C) and (E); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(b)(3); 1.16(d); 5.5(a); 8.4(a) and (c).

The panel, pursuant to the agreement of the parties, ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 179 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,085.65.
