Reprimand Effective December 29. 2007
The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) containing respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him; and failed to communicate with his client regarding the status of his client's legal matter and to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation.
Respondent's conduct was in violation of Michigan Court Rule 9.1 04(A)(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); and 1.4(a) and (b).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $756.11.
