Effective February 5, 2008 Petitioner was voluntarily transferred to inactive status, under MCR 9.121 (B), on November 27, 2006 and on August 21, 2007, his petition for reinstatement was filed in accordance with MCR 9.121 (E). The Attorney Discipline Board remanded this matter to the Genesee County Hearing Panel #4, which issued its report concluding that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement to active status.
The Attorney Discipline Board adopted the hearing panel's report and, on January 30,2008, issued an order granting petitioner's request to be returned to active status on the condition that he pay bar dues before being fully reinstated to the practice of law in Michigan. The Board's order also stated that petitioner would be subject to additional conditions upon his active reinstatement to the practice of law.
Petitioner paid his bar dues on dues on February 5, 2008 and his reinstatement to active status is deemed to be effective on that date. Costs were assessed in the amount of $664.74.
