NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 07-79-GA Notice Issued: October 12, 2007 Glenda M. Allen, P 55338, Grand Rapids, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Kent County Hearing Panel #4. 1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective October 10, 2007 The respondent failed to appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for her failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. The panel specifically found that, because respondent had not denied the allegations, she had committed professional misconduct as alleged in the formal complaint, specifically, that she failed to file an answer a request for investigation served upon her by the Grievance Administrator.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1 (a)(2) and 8.4(a) and (c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 180 days and assessed costs in the amount of $1,822.31.
