1. Reprimand 2. Effective October 25, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance
Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that, after his client had already signed a form, respondent prepared another form, with minor edits, and signed his client's name without his client's knowledge or consent. Respondent also pled no contest to the allegations that he was convicted of a misdemeanor and failed to provide notice of that conviction to the Attorney Grievance Commission and the Attorney Discipline Board.
Respondent was charged with violations of MeR 9.104(A)(2) and (5). Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $777.60.
