Effective October 18, 2007 Based upon an order of permanent disbarment entered May 11 , 2007 by the Supreme Court of Louisiana, the Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MCR 9.104. Respondent filed no pleadings and did not appear before the panel.
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and costs were assessed in the amount of $1,652.22.
