1. Reinstated 2. Effective July 30, 2007 Petitioner's license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for 179 days on May 4,2004, and discipline was increased to a 180 day suspension for petitioner's failure to comply with that order. His petition for reinstatement, filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124, was granted by Genesee County Hearing Panel #3, which concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules.
Accordingly, the hearing panel issued an order of eligibility for reinstatement with conditions on July 19, 2007, including a specific condition that respondent pay bar dues before being fully reinstated to the practice of law in Michigan. Petitioner paid his bar dues on July 30, 2007 and his reinstatement to the practice of law in Michigan is deemed to be effective on that date.
On August 2, 2007, a final order of reinstatement was issued, which included specific conditions relevant to petitioner's prior misconduct. Total costs were assessed in the amount of
$546.12.
