Effective June 8, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.1 15(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegation that he failed to communicate regarding the basis or rate of his fee. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5(b); and 8.4(a). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and costs were assessed in the amount of $755.12.
