NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 07-23-GA Notice Issued: May 4,2007 John L. Zorza, Ill P 24516, Warren, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel # I0 4.

1. Revocation 2. Effective May 4, 2007 Respondent was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Respondent also failed to appear at the public hearing. Based on the default, the panel found that respondent, in a workers' compensation redemption hearing, failed to notify a client of

a settlement offer; knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal; offered evidence respondent knew to be false; unlawfully altered a document having evidentiary value; and falsified evidence. In two other workers' compensation matters, respondent handled the legal matters without adequate preparation; neglected the matters; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in the representations; failed to keep his clients reasonably informed about the status of their matters; failed to explain the matters to his clients to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the clients to make informed decisions regarding their representation; and failed to make reasonable efforts to expedite litigation consistent with the interests of his clients.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(I)-(3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct I. I(b ) and (c); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 3.2; 3.3(a)(l) and (4); 3.4(b); and 8.4(a)- (c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be revoked and that he pay costs in the amount of $1,703.39.
