R. Jean Ramsey, P 40022, Southfield, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #80. 1. Reprimand 2. Effective June 7, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.1 15(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that she failed to exercise reasonable care to prevent an employee from disclosing the confidence or secret of a client; and, as a lawyer having direct supervisory authority over a non-lawyer, failed to make reasonable efforts that the non-lawyer's conduct was compatible with the professional obligations of the lawyer. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.6(d); 5.3(b); and 8.4(a). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and costs were assessed in the amount of $760.72.
