Case No. 06-1 17-GA Notice Issued: April 27,2007 Carl M. Weideman, Ill, P47032, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #8.

1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective April 21, 2007 The hearing panel found that respondent neglected two legal matters entrusted to him and failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in those matters. The panel also found that, in one matter, respondent failed to pursue his client's lawful objectives through reasonably available means. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.10 4(A)(1), (2) and (4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct I. I(c ); 1.3; 1.2(a); and 8.4(a) and(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days and ordered that he be subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,727.29.
