Effective March 3, 2007 Based upon an administrative order of suspension entered by the United States District Courtforthe Western DistrictofMichigan on June 13,2006, theAttorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MCR 9.104.
Respondent appeared at the show cause hearing and the panel, after determining that respondent had been afforded due process in the underlying proceeding, ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of 180 days. The panel also imposed a condition relevant to the established misconduct, Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,724.14.
