AMENDED NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent) Case No. 06-1 9-GA Notice Issued: March 7, 2007 Stephanie A. Carson, P 57096, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tn-County Hearing Panel #21. 1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective March 19, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondents plea of no contest to allegations of professional misconduct in the formal complaint. (See Notice of Suspension issued December 14, 2006).

The parties agreed that respondent should be suspended for 30 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $780.90. The hearing panel accepted the stipulation of the parties and issued and order on November 22, 2006 suspending respondents license to practice law in Michigan for a period of 30 days commencing December 14, 2006. A notice of suspension was issued by the Attorney Discipline Board on December 14, 2006.

On February 22, 2007, the respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a further stipulation to amend the effective date of the panels order for the reason that respondent had satisfactorily demonstrated that she had not received a copy of the hearing panels order and had not received actual notice regarding the commencement date of the suspension ordered by the panel. The parties stipulated that the commencement date of respondents 30 day suspension should be amended to March 19, 2007.
