Effective March 9, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline containing respondents plea of no contest to the allegation that he attempted to share legal fees with a nonlawyer. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.1 04(A)(2) and (4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 5.4(a) and 8.4(a). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the alleged misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $765.37.
