NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective January 11, 2007 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline containing respondent=s admission that, in two matters, he failed to provide

competent representation to a client; handled a legal matter without preparation adequate in the circumstances; neglected a legal matter entrusted to him; failed to seek the lawful objectives of a client through reasonably available means permitted by law and the rules of professional conduct; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client; and engaged in conduct prejudicial to the proper administration of justice.

Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Court Rule 9.104(A)(1); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(b); 1.2(a); 1.3; and 8.4(c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,137.75.
