1. Reprimand 2. Effective November 28, 2006 The parties filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which contained respondent’s plea of no contest to the allegations that he handled a legal matter which he knew or should have known that he was incompetent to handle and handled a legal matter without preparation adequate in the circumstances; neglected a legal matter; and knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(c); 3.4; and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $814.51.
