1. Reprimand 2. Effective January 10, 2007 The parties filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which contained respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegation that he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a client he was representing in a divorce matter, which created a conflict of interest. Respondent was charged with violations o f Michigan Court Rules 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.7(b); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and imposed conditions relevant to the alleged misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,740.01.
