NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 07-12-MZ (Ref. 05-97-GA) Notice Issued: February 6, 2007 Bradford T. Yaker, P 53476, Bingham Farms, Michigan by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #57.

1. Suspension - 18 Months 2. Effective December 31, 2006 The respondent and Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegations that he failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit his clients to make informed decisions regarding the representation; made representations to his clients about the status of their matters; and misappropriated funds from his former employer.

Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(b) and 8.4(b).

The parties agreed that respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan should be suspended for one year. The parties filed subsequent stipulations to delay the commencement date of suspension, which were granted by the panel, including a stipulation by the parties that respondent be suspended for 18 months, commencing December 31, 2006. This stipulation was approved by the hearing panel in its order issued January 30, 2007. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $898.43.
