1. Reprimand 2. Effective December 8, 2006 The parties filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which contained respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegations that he handled a legal matter without preparation adequate in the circumstances; and failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client. Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(b) and 1.3.
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and pay restitution in the amount of $3,000.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $761.92.
