NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case No. 06-13-GA Notice Issued: November 22, 2006 Anand A. Perumallapalli, P 60733, Ypsilanti, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #4.

1. Revocation 1. Effective November 22, 2006 The respondent was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the panel found that respondent neglected a legal matter; failed to keep his client reasonably informed about the status of the matter and failed to comply promptly with reasonable requests for information; failed to refund any advance payment of fees that had not been earned; failed to deposit funds into a client trust account; and misappropriated client funds. While not alleged in the formal complaint, the panel also found that respondent had engaged in the unauthorized practice of law, based on the fact that he was practicing pursuant to a special licensing provision extended by the State Bar of Michigan under which he is designated as a ASpecial Legal Consultant.@

Respondent=s conduct was in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 1.15(d); 1.16(d); and 8.4(b).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice in Michigan be revoked and that he pay restitution in the aggregate amount of $10,000.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,420.80.
