Paul W. Sawyer, P 53077, Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Effective September 12, 2006 Respondent was convicted September 12, 2006 in the Macomb County Circuit Court, Mt. Clemens, Michigan for operating intoxicated/impaired/controlleds ubstance-3rd, in violation of MCL 257.6256D, a felony. In accordance with MCR 9.120(8)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of the felony conviction. The Grievance Administrator has filed a judgment of conviction and this matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
