1. Reprimand 2. Effective August 2, 2006 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest that, in a personal injury matter, he failed to keep his client reasonably informed, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(a); and failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions about the representation, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(b).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $760.22.
