NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (Pending Appeal)

1. Suspension - 3 Years 2. Effective May 24, 2006 The hearing panel found that respondent, in a divorce matter, knowingly and intentionally perpetrated a fraud upon the court; and assisted his client in conduct that he knew was illegal or fraudulent. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.2(a); and 1.8(e) and (j). The panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice in Michigan be suspended for three years with conditions relevant to the established misconduct.
On May 10, 2006, the respondent filed a timely petition for review along with a request for a stay of discipline. The Board denied respondent=s petition for a stay of discipline and his subsequent motion for reconsideration. The matter will be scheduled for a review hearing before the Board.
