NOTICE OF AUTOMATIC INTERIM SUSPENSION Case No. 20-73-AI Notice Issued: October 16, 2020 Susan Elizabeth Wright, P 71642, Paw Paw, Michigan. Effective June 1, 2020. On June 1, 2020, the court accepted respondent's plea of guilty to misprision of a felony, in violation of 18 USC 4, a felony; and adulteration of medical devices - affecting the label to cause misbranding, in violation of 21 USC 331(k) and 21 USC 333(a)(1), in the matter titled United States of America v Susan E. Wright, U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan Southern Division, Case No. 1:20-cr-00052-JTN. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent’s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of her felony conviction.
Upon the filing of a certified judgment of conviction, this matter will be assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
