1. Reinstated 2. Effective June 1, 2006 Petitioner=s license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for two years and eleven months effective May 9, 1996. His petition for reinstatement, filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124, was granted by Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #3, which concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules.
On July 1, 2004, the hearing panel entered an order of eligibility for reinstatement subject to the following conditions: 1) petitioner=s recertification by the Board of Law Examiners in accordance with MCR 9.123(C); and 2) petitioner=s active membership in the State Bar of Michigan. On July 27, 2004, the hearing panel issued a supplemental order which contained the additional condition that petitioner attend the State Bar of Michigan=s Ethics School.
As of June 1, 2006, petitioner has provided proof of compliance with all of those conditions and his reinstatement to the practice of law in Michigan is deemed to be effective that date.
