Effective February 25, 2006 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegations that in a personal injury matter, he neglected the matter; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness; and failed to adequately communicate with his client. Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; and 1.4(a) and (b).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $866.81.
