NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (Pending Appeal)

1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective January 20, 2006 The hearing panel found that respondent deposited in his own account funds resulting from the cashing of a client check prior to resolution of a questions as to entitlement to the funds; and retained the funds in which his law firm had an interest. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(2) and (3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(a) and (c); and 8.4(b). The panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice in Michigan be suspended for 30 days.
On January 13, 2006, the Grievance Administrator filed a timely condition petition for review which has been scheduled for hearing before the Attorney Discipline Board on March 16, 2006.
