1. Revocation 2. Effective December 2, 2005 The hearing panel found that, in a workers compensation case, respondent received a check made payable to his client in the amount of $29,270.61. Respondent signed his client=s name to the
check without her knowledge or consent and deposited it into his IOLTA account. Respondent never forwarded the monies to his client and misappropriated the entire amount. Respondent=s conduct was in
violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(a) and (b); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license be revoked. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $1,909.89.
