Effective October 28, 2005 Petitioner was suspended from the practice of law since June 28, 2000, the effective date of a 180 day suspension and a subsequent concurrent two year suspension. Her petition for reinstatement, filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124, was granted by Kalamazoo County Hearing Panel #1, which concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established her eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules. On May 27, 2005, the panel issued its order of eligibility for reinstatement, conditioned upon petitioner=s recertification by the Michigan Board of Law Examiners and active membership in the State Bar of Michigan.
On October 31, 2005, the Attorney Discipline Board issued an order of reinstatement, with an effective date of October 28, 2005, the date petitioner=s last compliance with the above conditions. The panel also imposed conditions effective upon petitioner=s active reinstatement to the practice of law. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $739.00.
