The Grievance Administrator filed a petition on June 29, 2005 seeking entry of an order of additional discipline against respondent for his failure to comply with the hearing panel's order of probation and suspension issued February 21, 2005. Pursuant to that order, respondent was to serve an 18 month probation, comply with specific conditions relative to his probationary period, serve a 60 day suspension, pay costs, and comply with the requirements of MCR 9.119(A) and (B).
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for an additional 90 days, effective September 12, 2005, and increased the probationary period from 18 months to three years, subject to additional conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $269.97.
