NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 19, 2005 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegations that, in a criminal matter, he neglected the matter; failed to file a claim of appeal or any pleading on his client=s behalf; and failed to timely refund the unearned portion of the $2,500.00 attorney fee. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 3.2; 1.16(d); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $768.84.
