NOTICE OF REPRIMAND AND RESTITUTION (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 29, 2005. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s admission of the allegations that he failed to provide competent representation by failing to include an interested heir in probate and wrongful death proceedings. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a) and 8.4(a).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and shall pay restitution in the amount of $6,700.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $772.68.
